Objective

UCSI College, in collaboration with Oxford Brookes University, is organising a business challenge with the mission: To enhance young students' business skills and global perspectives and bring out the entrepreneur within.

Who are eligible to participate?

Each team should consist of three students, under the supervision of their school teacher or advisor.

All participants must be SPM/IGCSE/Equivalent students.

At least one out of three students must be equipped with basic business and accounting knowledge (SPM/IGCSE/Equivalent)

Schools can send as many teams as they want.

Rules and Regulations

  1. Each successful registration will be followed by a confirmation email from the organiser.
  2. Please make sure the registered email account is active.
  3. This competition is open to all SPM Form 5/IGCSE/Equivalent students.
  4. The quiz will be conducted in the English Language.
  5. Each team should consist of three students, under the supervision of their school teacher or advisor.
  6. At least one out of three students must be equipped with basic business and accounting knowledge (SPM/IGCSE/Equivalent)
  7. Schools can send as many teams as they want.
  8. The competition will be carried out on various digital platforms which require a coverage of internet network allowing high speed data transfer for the purpose of smooth audio/video conferencing. It is participant's responsibility to ensure this is in place before the competition takes place.
  9. The Judges'/Organisers' decisions in all matters relating to the competition shall be final, absolute, and binding on the participants.
  10. If at any time during or after the competition, a winner is found to have not complied with any of the Rules and Regulations, the Organisers reserve the right to cancel and/or recover the claimed prize at their sole discretion. In such a situation, the winning team will be disqualified, and the panel of judges will determine a new winning team.
  11. Members of the winning team should be available for the post-competition production, recording and publicity of the competition, such as:
    • Interview (which shall be videotaped)
    • Taking of still photographs, audio or visual recording for promotions and publicity purposes.
  12. The Organisers reserve the right to vary, postpone or reschedule the dates and venues of the competition or extend the competition period at their sole discretion.
  13. By participating in this competition, the contestants agree to and shall ensure that all team members, chaperones, and their respective institution's authorities agree to be bounded by the competition's Rules and Regulations.
